Our guides, tools, and move planner are free. Where it helps, we may recommend relevant services such as international money transfers, temporary accommodation, arrival connectivity, or insurance options.

When a link is an affiliate link, we label it near the recommendation. If you follow it and complete a qualifying transaction, we may receive a commission from the provider. Ordinary provider links do not necessarily earn us a commission.

You can use every guide, tool, and checklist without clicking a partner link. Compare the full price, terms, eligibility, and alternatives before choosing. Partners handle their own bookings, payments, and customer service.

Editorial recommendations are based on what we believe is useful for readers. Affiliate commission does not determine whether a topic is covered, how we rank cities and options, or whether a checklist task is relevant to you. City suggestions use our editorial city information and your selected preferences.

We record which recommendation was clicked to understand whether it helps readers. We do not put your notes, dates, budget amounts, health information, or account identifier in affiliate click events. After you visit a partner site, that provider may use its own cookies and attribution systems.
